Modica (Sicily). The writing on the car of a reporter: “Be careful”
The writing engraved on the side of the Bmw of Paolo Borrometi. Investigate the police. Solidarity from Assostampa Ragusa
Unidentified people damaged the car of the journalist Paolo Borrometi from Ragusa, carving with a sharp object the words “Be careful” on the side. It happened on the night between 9 and 10 October, outside his home in Modica (Ragusa). The reporter, who discovered the message the day after, reported the incident to the police.
The incident appeared to the police to have suffered the contours of the intimidating act, said Borrometi to Ossigeno . It was not, in fact, of a superficial sign (as it may be done with a key) but of a real incision, probably made with a large nail or a screwdriver.
Borrometi, correspondent for the newspaper La Sicilia and Editor in Chief of the newly LaSpia.it, was involved in various surveys. The latest and most delicate were relating to the problems of the management of privatized cemetery of Modica, the scandals related to housing in Ragusa and the administration of municipal solid waste in Scicli.
SOLIDARITY – The provincial secretary of Assostampa Ragusa (union trade), the Mayor of Modica and the local branch of the political party Sinistra Ecologia e Libertà expressed solidarity with the journalist.
