The reporter from the Quotidiano del Sud Enza Dell’Acqua, correspondent from Nicotera, in the province of Vibo Valentia, on the evening of Tuesday, March 3rd was reached at the Council House exit by the councilor Salvatore Cavallaro, who warned her to stop writing stuff about him on Facebook
The news was reported by the Corriere della Calabria, which refers the councillor’s words: “Stop writing stuff about me on Facebook or I’ll come and pay you a visit”. When the reporter asked if it was a threat, the commissioner replied that it was merely “a suggestion.” Cavallaro has then partly repeated his words in front of the city council, admitting to having ordered the journalist not to talk about him, defining her a “psychopath”. Dell’Acqua denounced the commissioner for threats and insults. The reporter received the solidarity of the Calabrian MPs of the M5S.
