Perugia. Entrepreneur to trial accused of threats against journalist

The builder from Perugia, Leonardo Giombini, has been called to present himself before the Justice of Peace by the Public prosecutor of Perugia for the crimes of abuse and threats against the journalist Enzo Beretta, collaborator of the Umbrian offices of the newspaper La Nazione. The hearing is scheduled for May 10th, 2016.
As reported by Ossigeno, on June 12th, 2014 Enzo Beretta wrote in an article that the builder Giombini had been called to testify in court on the escape of a prisoner from the prison of Perugia, in 2006, when the entrepreneur was also imprisoned for tax offenses. As he read the article, Giombini protested calling the journalist in his office and railed against him threatening words for which Beretta pressed charges against him.
Furthermore, the entrepreneur has sued the journalist accusing him of defamation and demanding compensation for 90 thousand euro. The trial is set for October 15th, 2015.
