On 26 October 2015, the President of the Tuscany Region Enrico Rossi withdrew the libel suit he had filed against a freelance journalist for an article on the accounts of the ASL of Massa and Carrara, published in the newspaper Libero. He did so at the invitation of the Tuscany Press Association, which pointed out that the author of the article is an external collaborator, has few guarantees and is not liable for either the wording of the title nor for the showy layout.
