Palermo. Damaged car of Stefania Petyx, reporter of “Striscia la Notizia”
A firecracker exploded under the car parked in the street near her house. She says there are no surveillance cameras
On January 17th, 2016, around 22 p.m., in Palermo, the explosion of a firecracker damaged the car of Stefania Petyx, reporter for Striscia La Notizia, the satirical news reel broadcast on Canale 5. The bomb shattered the windows and ripped through the car bonnet. She, who at the time of the explosion was not at home, has filed a complaint against unknown persons at the Police constabulary Palermo. The prosecutor of Palermo has opened an investigation.
“It will not be easy to trace those responsible – Stefania Petyx said – because in the area where I live there are no security cameras.” In her view, she reported to Ossigeno, it could be in retaliation for one of her recent pieces for the satirical news reel of Canale 5, but it is not clear which one.
In 2012 Stefania Petyx had already been the subject of threatening warnings watch.
