The Ossigeno Method adopted in Spain by Plataforma
Moreover, the two organizations will exchange articles and jointly organize meetings and conferences
The Spanish Association Plataforma en Defensa de la Libertad de Información (PDLI), which is based in Madrid and is chaired by journalist Viginia Pérez Alonso, decided to adopt the Ossigeno monitoring method developed by Ossigeno per l’Informazione and applied in Italy, where it made possible to document and report to the public over 2860 serious violations of freedom of information, committed through violence and abuse of the law.
Under the agreement reached in Madrid, Ossigeno will make available to Plataforma its experience and will host some of Plataforma‘s articles. On the other hand Plataforma will host some of Ossigeno‘s articles about the Italian situation. The collaboration aims to identify and propose solutions to common problems for the two countries, issues that will be explored in the course of meetings and conferences which will be attended by representatives of the two organizations. The collaboration begins with this article.
