Excellent results of the social coverage during the Italian three day events of Ossigeno for the International Day to end impunity for crimes against journalists
There were thirty thousand views of the tweet launched by the editors of Ossigeno per l’Informazione in the course of the three Roman events (24, 25, 26 October 2016) to honor the “International Day to end impunity for crimes against journalists” , called by the UN. The tweet that received the most attention is the one containing a statement of Dunja Mijatovic, OSCE Representative on Freedom of the media: “Doing journalism freely is a right: political change is necessary to protect the media.” The tweets have been launched, as well as in Italian, in English and French. Then, Oxygen initiatives in the Senate, the House and the National Central Library, to present the dossier on the relationship between justice and information, were followed also beyond the borders of our country.
Concerning Facebook profile, the posts written by Ossigeno editors, registered a covering which reached about ten thousand users.
