Polish tv insults journalist for a question scope bothering the government

Dorota Bawolek, correspondent from Brussels, had spoken at a briefing of the European Commission

Dorothy Bawolek, correspondent of Polish private media Polsat, during a briefing in Brussels, asked a European Commission spokesperson, urging the same Commission to take action against a provision by the Government of Warsaw, saying it would allow control of the Supreme Court The Polish public television channel reacted by classifying the journalist’s demand as a political provocation. Immediately after the reporter suffered many attacks on social networks. These threats are unacceptable, commented the Vice-President of the European Commission, Frans Tinderman, and the spokesperson Margaritis Schinas (read on Euractiv).

It is absurd to expect that journalists only ask favourable questions, the Association of the International Press in Brussels commented (API / IPA).
